Kristine Oren devotes her practice to complex litigation matters, including trial proceedings and appeals. She represents educational institutions in a broad range of matters, encompassing employment disputes, internal investigations, and regulatory issues. Ms. Oren also represents businesses and individuals in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts.

Ms. Oren recently achieved a significant litigation success in the Middlesex Superior Court, where she played a central role in obtaining summary judgment in favor of a client who was accused by a Cambridge-based scientist and his startup corporations of breaching an alleged investment agreement. She also recently secured summary judgment on behalf of a client defending against a claim for overtime pay arising under the Massachusetts Wage Act.

Prior to joining Cloherty & Steinberg, Ms. Oren was a litigation associate at a Boston-based mid-sized law firm.  She previously worked as an associate at a large international law firm.
